i say 2 you the real krem ok
while walking on a main paths in krem early this year i came across big holes everywhere where the young & old could disappear for ever in the unlit streets. this is much commen for lovely little krem
when visiting a home 1 does remove 1 shoes. the main reason for this is the paths are full of @@@@ & urine but even better?........... yep mostly spit yep big green spit everywhere..............but i a not know where this lovely green spit comes from but it sticks 2 my shoes like it lives on them!
is`nt it lovely 2 see these pictures maybe 1 day
as for night pictures then forget it for you will need nerd bush & his army 2 protect you out there at night on the streets of krem
funny how american/ex ukraine nerds only see what they want 2 see inlife
from my experince of yanks they not even know whats happening in the next state let alone here in ukraine 2 day

As far as I know this site was created for those who used to live in Kremenchug and now are far away from their home town for some reason. The idea was great and the guys are doing an excellent job! Еще как! И что тут непонятного - разные люди разные книжки читают. Библиотеки шикарные даже в маленьких городах. Народу там всегда хватает - кто по учебе что-то ищет, кто по работе, кто просто фан имеет. А какая в школах программа по чтению! А книжные магазины! Там же очереди нехилые в кассу за книжки заплатить. А кофейни при каждом книжном магазине - народ сидит, читает.

Не, такого не может, конечно же, быть. Мы - самая читающая нация! :-))))) Как и все остальные "самый-самый" тоже только наши, ничьи больше. :-))))

А чем плох Дисней-Лэнд? Идеально соответсвует назначению. А мне, вообще, здесь детские площадки и центры развлечений нравятся - все продумано, интересно, и можно быть спокойным, что ребенок не свернет голову на горке. И приятно, что детская площадка на каждом пляже, у каждого боль-мень крупного магазина. Я, как родитель, очень довольна.

Кстати, тот же несчастный :-)) МакДональдс - вполне соответствующая конструкция, учитывая уровень ресторана :-))) Чего народ недоволен? :-))) Это ж не концертный зал.

А не знаю я. Каждому свое. И у каждого, наверное, своя цена за Америку. Только счастливым детством детей или семьей-друзьями я бы жертвовать не стала, да и не приходится.

Просто надоело здесь читать сопливые жалобы о том, как все тут хреново, а в Кремне - просто песня. Хотя многие здесь честно признаются, что Кремень дорог, потому что детство-молодость там прошла, друзья остались, добрые воспоминания, а не от потрясающего вида крюковкого вокзала. :-))) Но нет-нет, да и попадется какой-нить неудачник, у которого в другой стране не сложилось, как мечталось, вот он и винит страну, которая его гостеприимно приняла. Один тут из Израиля, помню, прямо извелся весь ненавистью в евреям, и как ему тяжко среди них жить, и какие они такие-растакие, и страна такая же. А домой не едет, не дурак. :-))) Будто держат его там, не пускают, на коленях умоляют остаться. :-))) А вернется домой - будет Кремень хаять. Есть такие кадры.

Please do let the rantings of Steve from England bother you. He is a lonely, poor and nasty guy who deserves our pity more than anger. To make my point, take a look at his earlier postings of #1145, #1156 and #1286 to get a better understanding of his bottom sucking point of view.

However I do have a question for those posting on this site. If you miss Kremenchuk so very much, why do you not return to visit??? While I realize that it is difficult for many ukrainians to leave their country, it is not that difficult for an exPat to visit unless you are living in the host country illegally and will not be able to return. For those who endlessly write how you miss Kremenchuk, please consider a Kiev / Yalta / Kremenchuk holiday this Summer!!!

I have visited Kremenchug, Ukraine in summer of 1998, 2000, and 2002. I love the Ukraine people and love to be with them. Thank you for this web site. I give some things to my friends in Ukraine and they give me pictures and love. I cried when I left. In Cambridge, Minnesota there are about 10 ukrainian children in the school where I teach. I know 2 songs in Ukraine language and about 20 phrases.

I was trying to find an ukrainian friend on the web and yesterday I received a postcard of his from Budapest. I find ukrainian people great! Pity I can’t read all the messages here, because most of them are written in ukrainian.

I visited your town for two weeks back in March. There was still a lot of snow. It is nice to see how lush and green the landscape can get. My ukrainian fiance and I are waiting for his US visa to get approved, but we plan on going back to Kremenchug in the future. Thank you for your lovely photos. I recognize several of the areas.

I want to thank Jeffery and his ukrainian Fiancee from Kremenchuk for putting me into contact with Svetlana a nice and beautiful "Kremenchugian".

With regard to your enquiry about Kremenchuk, it is a city full of places where to hang out. But what is more, you would be amazed to find out that many places don’t close at all and remain open 24 hours: small convenient local shops, night clubs, etc. There are very nice restaurants with not only traditional ukrainian food, which is very very nice too! In my personal experience Kremenchuk is an exceptional city full of energy, with very friendly people and with very interesting places to visit. If you want to know more my advice to you is just to get there, make friends and I am sure they will show you every thing this beautiful city has to offer to visitors.

Russian (Русский) или ukrainian (Украинский). Чуть ниже
выбираем раскладку клавиатуры. Кто не знаком с Киррилицей
рекомендую Russian (или ukrainian) Transliterated и как

I am impressed! I never thought Tom’s letter would have caught the attention of so many people! Wow! Mr DeGroot, Tony de Great where are you coming from? New to the planet? Is any of you two been in Ukraine? Again as it was said before does any one need this bull on this web site? The fact are these: Right or wrong Tom had big concerns about the lady he was corresponding with! If it is just for money assuming the lady genuine she should be removing him from her mailing list! When I was Tom’s age I spent countless $67.00 on weekends trying to entertain a woman at the restaurant, a movie etc....just to get to know her better!Sometime it worked sometime not! Life! Tom thinks that he should not be asked for money...to help feed is quest for love. By north american standards he is right. that kind of money can be easily made in two or three hours of work! In Ukraine it is different matter! That kinds of money many people do not make it in a month!But everything cost proportionally the same or even more than in North America! The lady got 4 letters from Tom and she send four plus if she does not speak english the translation alone could cost around US$20.00 the internet cafe maybe US$5 and so on! So things add up! Just to think tha someone is a scammer because she asked for help! (If I know ukrainian women (I should I am married to one!) it was viewed as a request for help only!) So that we do not make a long story it seems that everyone agrees that Tom’s should have been a bit more patient and give it a chance! On the other hand it is clear that P DeGroot and Tony de Great are to put it mildly to rude individuals who not only offend Tom but the rest of us! You cannot be stopped for the sake of free speach,so give each other your email address and write each other! and please live the rest of us to enjoy this site!

Great site, feel sorry that I’m not able to read the ( to me mystical ) ukrainian language. I would be nice if you place the English translation of the buildings / site seeings underneath the photo’s! And moreover a map of Kremenchuk itself?! Good job, good luck!
