If you are going to be there on a middle-long term basis , I believe that the option of a hotel is going to be expensive to you. At the town centre, there are three main hotels, one is called the Kremin which I shall not recomend anyone.... then a budget option very close to the train station called Dniprosky Zory and a top endo hotel which I never tried because was very expensive for me called Ontario.
Please beware that the Ukraine is not an english speaking country , though there are some people that speak english people over there do comunicate mainly in russian and ukarinian which is very useful for everyday life over there. If you are not familiar with the language , you shall seek help at least to set things up to your taste or othewise you will be dissapointed.
About going out, the town centre is full of options and there are places like the Liverpool , Chinese restaurant Pekin and others that have a menu in english. Others like Eden, Pelikan , Ukraina do not have it but they are as good as the others if not better and you will be quite pleased if you go with a local.
Shopping in kremenchuk has also plenty of choice , as previous people have informed you there is a market for food and other for clothes and household items. There is at Maladiosny (outside of the town centre)

Yes, nameless blogger from uk (doesn't "uk" rhyme with "YUK"?). Please, do those of us who love Kremenchuk a favor and DO "not bother going to this place". Most certainly, I'd be one of the first to "unwelcome" you to Kremenchuk if I were to run across you there. Perhaps after you learn your grammar & how to write correctly in your own language they won't make fun of you and beat on you again if you return. I have rarely found anywhere so friendly and willing to help me as the people of Kremenchuk. Restaurant service is unparalleled, and I found people went out of their way to help me when I was there last - (February/March). If you return, perhaps you should consider to acquire traditional lodgings rather than a park bench near the Dnipro. Maybe if you got out and actually interacted with the people and kept in mind that YOU are the foreigner there; perhaps then you wouldn't appear so foolish posting to Kremenchuk.org - or better yet, just stay home, vagabond. I don't need people like you making a bad name for others visiting Kremenchuk.

Возможно после того, как Вы изучаете вашу грамматику и как написать правильно на вашем собственном языке, они не будут высмеивать Вас и биться на Вас снова, если Вы возвратитесь. Я редко находил где-нибудь настолько дружественным и желающим помочь мне как люди Кременчука.
Обслуживание ресторана беспрецедентно, и я нашел, что люди вышли из их способа помочь мне, когда я был там последним - (Февраль/Март).
Если Вы возвращаетесь, возможно Вы должны счесть, чтобы приобрести традиционное жилье, а не скамью парка около Днипро.
Возможно, если Вы шли об и фактически взаимодействовали с людьми и помнить, что ВЫ - иностранец там; возможно тогда Вы не появились бы так глупая регистрация к Kremenchuk.org - или еще лучше, почему не делают Вы остаетесь в Великобритании, бродяге. Я не нуждаюсь в людях как Вы делающий дурную славу для других, посещающих Кременчук.

Upcoming visit to Kremenchuk, possibly long-term. Are there any secure/luxury hotel or apartments for rent? What is best walking area to live for ease of shopping for daily needs and beautiful surroundings? Any English replies would be appreciated.

hi.....i'm looking to rent an apartment or find hotel accomodation in kremenchug ( near the bus station if possible ) for about 2 or 3 weeks. whilst there, i want to locate a 2 or 3 roomed apartment away from the city centre to buy for myself. when i was last there a month or two ago, i liked the area on the way out to that new big apartment / grocery store.
